Growatt Warranty & Return policy

 
For the portable power station device you purchased, Growatt warrants that you received a 2 years factory warranty included (for consumers outside of the contiguous EU, a 1 year warranty period is enforced). In each case, the warranty period is measured starting on the date of purchase by the original consumer purchaser.

In addition, warranty period for Growatt based solar panels and all other components is one (1) year,measured starting on the date of purchase by the original consumer purchaser.

The sales receipt from the first consumer purchase, or other reasonable documentary proof, is required in order to establish the start date of the warranty period. Please keep the receipt as well as the reasonable documentary proof in a proper and safe place.

If you completed the Growatt portable power station devices registration within thirty (30) days after purchasing your product (via MyGro App), that registration can also establish the start date of the warranty period. 

This warranty is limited to the original consumer purchaser, and it is not transferable to any subsequent owner.

This warranty statement sets forth Growatt's entire liability and exclusive warranty obligation. Growatt will not assume, nor authorize any person to assume for us, any other liability in connection with the sale of our products.

 

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty includes defects of design, components and manufacturing under normal consumer use. Excluded from warranty damages due to:

Breaking the product seal (or opening the device) without proper approval

Transport damage, or damaged by accident

Misuse, abuse, incorrect use or inappropriate operation

Failure to observe the user manual, the operation guide, and the maintenance regulations

Unauthorized modifications, changes, or attempted repairs

Insufficient ventilation of the device

Failure to observe the applicable safety regulations

Force majeure (e.g., lightning, over voltage, storm, fire)

Purchased from unauthorized distributor, unauthorized retailer, or through an online auction house

In addition, this warranty does not apply to the battery cell, unless the battery cell is fully charged by you within seven days after you purchase the product and at least once every 6 months thereafter.

 

Refund

Growatt offer a 30-day money back guarantee. 
This only applies to product purchased directly from Growatt. For all other purchases, please contact the distributor/retailer you purchased from directly, and following their return policy.


Return & Refund Conditions

In order to return your product under the 30-day return policy, please check the following Return & Refund Conditions are met.


(1) You have purchased the Growatt branded product directly from https://eu.growattpower.com/. Product that is custom configured or branded to your specifications is NOT covered by 30-day money back guarantee. Product purchased from a 3rd party distributor or retailer is NOT covered by 30-day money back guarantee.

(2) Contact Growatt and begin the return process within 30 days from the original shipment date.

(3) The product is returned in the original packaging, with all materials included.

(4)  Ensure the return is accompanied with a Return Authorization Number.

 

Warranty condition

If a portable power station device becomes defective during the agreed Growatt factory warranty period and provided that it will not be impossible or unreasonable, the device will be, as selected by Growatt,repair by Growatt, or exchange for a replacement device of equivalent value according to model and age.

A repaired or replaced product assumes the remaining warranty of the original product, or at least thirty (30) days from the date of replacement or repair, whichever provides longer coverage for you.

This warranty does not cover superficial or cosmetic defects, dents, marks or scratches, which does not affect the proper function of the device, especially for warranty replacement devices.

This warranty and remedies set forth above are exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, remedies and conditions, whether oral or written, express or implied. Growatt specifically disclaims any and all implied warranties, including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. If Growatt cannot lawfully disclaim implied warranties under this limited warranty, all such warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are limited in duration to the duration of this warranty. No Growatt reseller, agent, or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to this warranty. In no event will Growatt be liable for any direct, special, consequential or incidental damages arising from any use or malfunction of any Growatt product, or from any breach of warranty, including damage to other devices. In no event will Growatt's liability for any claim, whether in contract, warranty, tort (including negligence and strict liability), or under any other theory of liability, exceed the amount paid by you for the Growatt product. Claims that go beyond the rights cited in the warranty condition, in particular claims for compensation for direct or indirect damages, losses, arising from the defective device, or loss of profits, are not covered by factory warranty, unless Growatt is subject to statutory liability. Possible claims in accordance with the product liability law remain unaffected.

 

How to process a 30-day back guarantee or claim a warranty & Return an Item

To return an item you'll need to obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number.

Growatt will not accept returns without prior authorization and an RMA number. You can get an RMA form by contacting us via telephone or email for assistance. For the 30-days money back guarantee, if there is not the product warranty related cases, then you are also required to pay the payment transaction fee (usually 5%) and the freight cost that send the package to Growatt. We will process the refund in 14 days from the date of receiving the returned product.

 

Process for Returning Product

If you purchased your product from a distributor or retailer:
Contact the distributor or retailer for support and assistance, and following their return policy. They have your information and would support you directly.

 

The following procedure is for purchases made directly from Growatt:

Contact Growatt directly for support and assistance. Obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number. All returns must have an RMA number for processing.

Write the RMA number on the shipping label on the outside of the package.
RMA numbers should be clearly displayed on the return shipping label of any package being returned to Growatt. Do not write the RMA number on the actual box. Packages without an RMA number on the return shipping label may not be accepted by our warehouse.

We will check the product and process the guarantee or warranty, once we received the products.

 

Please note, we will charge for the transaction fee (usually 5%) and the freight cost in the following circumstance:

(1) Customer cancels the purchasing order after we sent the product.
(2) Not the product warranty related cases.
(3) Customer rejects the product delivery package without proper reason.
(4) Logistics cannot be delivered properly due to customer issues (Incorrect address, incorrect delivery information, cannot be contacted by phone, etc.)
